The Honenu legal-aid organization has petitioned the Supreme Court to instruct the Police Investigation Unit to probe a 14-year-old boy's claim that he was beaten, kicked and choked by an officer. The petition was filed after a complaint file was closed for "lack of public interest" and an appeal to prosecutors was rejected.
