The Rishon Letzion Magistrates Court extended by one day, Monday, the remand of Member of Knesset Basel Ghattas (Joint Arab List), who is being held on suspicion of smuggling cellular phones to security prisoners and passing notes between prisons.
Police had sought an extension of four days.
