Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday spoke by telephone and discussed the crisis in Syria, the Kremlin said in a statement.
Erdogan reportedly phoned Putin to express his condolences over the crash of the Russian plane with the Red Army Orchestra on board.
