The Knesset Finance Committee delayed, Sunday, a vote on funding for a plane that would be used by the prime minister and the president.

Purchase of the plane was endorsed by the diplomatic-security cabinet. The nearly 183-million-shekel request was one of 15 items in a package totalling NIS 822 million for a variety of items in the Prime Minister's Office. Committee Chairman Moshe Gafni agreed to a request by opposition members to separate the plane from other parts of the package which were not opposed.
