Police in the United States and Canada have increased security for holiday shopping in the wake of the vehicle-terror attack in Berlin, which killed 12 people.
According to reports, armed officers have been placed at shopping centers and other focal points in Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, and the Manhattan district in New York, among other places.
