A 23-year-old resident of Lod was arrested on suspicions that he attacked a doctor at a clinic in the city.
The suspect yesterday entered the clinic, went up to the the family doctor and requested an appointment at the emergency room, while threatening that if he was not given an appointment he would kill her and burn her while she was in her car.
The suspect raised a chair in the air, pointed it at the doctor, and hit her, breaking her hand.
Police rushed to the scene and arrested the man.
