Police issued an order restricting MK Basel Ghattas (Arab Joint List) from leaving the country, after suspicions that Ghattas tried to smuggle cell phones to Hamas prisoners in jail.
The order was placed since there exists a concern that Ghattas might try to take refuge in an Arab country, as former MK and terrorist facilitator Azmi Bishara did.
