The Knesset's health committee unanimously approved for second and third readings a bill whereby students who studied pharmacy in Israel would not need to take a licensing exam.
Further, pharmacists who studied outside of Israel and seek to transfer their practice to Israel would be required to pass only a fraction of the tests which they are currently required to; only tests on legal aspects would be retained, while testing on technical aspects of the profession would be dropped.
