The Jerusalem District Attorney has filed an indictment with the city's Magistrate's Court, charging Deputy Director Baruch Helfgot of the Hareidi Education branch in the Jerusalem Municipality with breach of trust.

According to the indictment, the accused acted in favor of the "Vezot Habracha" association regarding allocation of a structure for a Talmud Torah institution, a conflict of interest, knowing that in that period, from time to time, association manager Yaakov Berger loaned him various sums of association funds, made investments in foreign real-estate for him. Helfgot is accused of hiding his financial ties with Berger and the organization from the public and his superiors.
