A Tuesday-evening Border Police effort against illegal arms in the Galilee Bedouin community of Tuba-Zangariyye resulted in the seizure of a large number of stun, smoke and spray grenades, ammunition and ammunition clips.
The arms were found in a highway pothole. A preliminary investigation indicates they were to be used in local criminal squabbles. A local resident was arrested on suspicion of being tied to the weapons.
