The state told the Supreme Court, Tuesday, that it has agreed to delay the scheduled destruction of a memorial in the Giv'at Haavot neighborhood of Gush Etzion in order to prepare the memorial for transfer to another site in cooperation with local authorities.
The state said the transfer deadline will be in March, together with the deadline for uprooting the neighborhood. It explained that the fact that it was a monument was not previously brought to the attention of state attorneys or the political echelon, so it would be okay to move this building.
