Member of Knesset Merav Michaeli (Zionist Union) criticized, Monday, the first reading in the Knesset plenum of the amended bill to normalize the legal status of unrecognized Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. Adressing the plenum, Michaeli asked, "Is it a coincidence that representatives of the opposition the presidium committee "did not understand" that the Regulation Law would come up today for a preliminary call? It is appropriate that such a dramatic law be dealt with properly and not in haste. A new wording demands new discussion."
Michaeli added, "The coalition is simply lying shamelessly to convey the law today with disgraceful conduct that tramples the Knesset regulations and, no less, its dignity."
