An indictment was submitted to the district court of Nazareth with a request to extend the arrest until the end of proceedings of Auni Zidaat, 24, from Nazareth Illit, for murdering his pregnant wife, whose body has not been found.
Zidaat notified police that his 20-year-old wife had been captured by two malicious persons as he and his wife were returning from Haifa.
His version of events sounded suspicious to investigators, and he was arrested that evening.
