Military prosecutors have filed three charges of negligent homicide against a major and two second lieutenants in the drowning death of Corporal Ilan Yankilevich, this past summer in an Eshkol Council Region reservoir where bathing was banned, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
An attorney for the officers said they were summoned to a hearing by the military prosecution to be held in two weeks. Yankilevich was among a group of soldiers who entered the reservoir. Two other soldiers had to be rescued.
