Chairwoman Aida Touma-Sliman of the Knesset Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality has indefinitely postponed a hearing on harassment of Jewish women by Arab men.
The initiative of Knesset member Yulia Malinovsky (Yisrael Beytenu) was approved on Monday by the Knesset Presidium and was supposed to be held within 10 days of the approval, according to Knesset rules. MK Malinovsky says she has received dozens of calls from women who have been victim of the phenomenon.
