Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi of Israel David Lau called on people living in fire areas, Thursday afternoon, to fully comply with instructions of security forces and stay away from danger areas.
Rabbi Laud noted, "'Saving lives comes first' and one should not interfere with and cause delays to rescue teams."
