The Parole Board of the Israel Prisons Service has rejected a request by prosecutors to delay discussion on a petition by former president Moshe Katzav for early release from the remainder of his seven-year sentence on convictions for rape, sexual assault, obstruction of justice and other charges.
As a result, the hearing is now set for December 11th
