A general strike by the Histadrut Labor Federation was avoided, Tuesday evening, when it was decided by Histadrut and Finance Ministry officials to extend current agreements on long-term health insurance until December of 2017.
The extension was made to avoid a vacuum while the Treasury studies the capital market's long-term health insurance model.
