Chairman Avi Nissenkorn of the Histadrut Labor Federation has summoned representatives of the management of El Al Israel Airlines and its pilots to a meeting in his office, Monday evening at 18:00.
Nissenkorn will try to solve a work dispute that the airline has blamed for cancellations and delays of flights or the use of chartered aircraft. The pilots are refusing to fly long routes and come back immediately. They say the cancellations, delays and use of chartered aircraft are unnecessary.
