    CPI up 0.2 percent in October

    The consumer price index rose two tenths of a percent in October, according to figures released on Tuesday by the Central Bureau of Statistics. Fresh produce rose four percent, just ahead of a 3.9-percent increase for clothing and shoes. Culture and entertainment expenses went down seven tenths of a percent.

    The October index matches the average for 2016. In the last 12 months, prices have come down three tenths of a percent.
