Two babies from the neonatal intensive care unit at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv have been infected with the Carbapenem-resistant enterobacteriaceae bacteria. The hospital said, Monday, that the babies were only diagnosed as carrier and that it was working with the Health Ministry to avoid further infections.
Channel 2 Television reports four infections from "violent bacteria" were reported among premature babies at the hospital last month.
