An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale was overnight Sunday (Israel time) in southern New Zealand. There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
The earthquake was felt in the same region which was hit by a 7.4-magnitude earthquake which killed two people on Sunday.
