A close associate of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made clear on Wednesday that the goal behind the establishment of a committee to review Israeli Public Broadcasting is to strengthen the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA).
“The prime minister is determined to rebuild the IBA and will do so within the framework of the planned budget. That is the essence of his intention in founding the Committee,” said the associate.
