A public committee headed by retired justice Dalia Dorner has named the television satire show Gav Ha'umah (Back of the Nation) the winner of the Knight of Quality Government award in the category of culture. The media category went to Editor Avi Bar-Eli of the business publication The Marker.
Member of Knesset Karin Elharrar (Yesh Atid) was the winner in the legislative category. In the category of social struggle for the sake of the integrity and quality of government, the winners were the Movement for Freedom of Information, led by Raviv Drucker, and Moran Ginosar for exposing corruption in the Israel Electric Company. 95-year-old Dan Tolkovsky, a businessman and fifth commander of the Israel Air Force, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award.
