Route 10, which runs along the Egyptian border, has been opened for the holiday, five years after a series of terror attacks that led to the deaths of eight people and the wounding of dozens of others, according to Kol Yisrael government radio.
Survivors of the attacks say they still have not received an official explanation why the road was open at the time of the attacks despite warnings.
