A few hours after a problem forced Bazan to close one of its Haifa area factories, a representative of the crude oil company said, "It was only a local issue and solved within minutes. The problem has been reported to the authorities and no damage to the environment was caused."
This is the second mishap this week.
In a supervisory check on Sunday the Environmental Protection Ministry found problems in five of the factories checked.
