Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman has appointed the public committee responsible for enhancing the health services basket for 2017. The Chairman of the committee will be Prof. Yehonatan Halevy, head of Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The committee will advise the government and Health Committee on priorities in the addition of medicine and medical technologies to the available options in the national health basket in accordance with the set budget.
