There has been an improvement in the condition of the 38-year-old policewoman who was stabbed about two weeks ago at Herod's Gate in Jerusalem's Old City. She was seriously injured in that incident.

Shaarei Tzedek Hospital has said that the woman is awake, breathing independently and communicating. In addition, she is suffering from neurological damage to her spinal chord, and is still hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
