Chairman Yaakov Margi of the Knesset Education Committee has written to Education Minister Naftali Bennett, asking him to revoke the operating permits of haredi schools that discriminate on the basis of a student's ethnic background or the occupation of the parents.
Margi's letter included a list of 40 students who have not started the school year because of such discrimination. Some of them had won appeals against their being rejected.
