The Israel Defense Forces, police and the Shabak Israel Security Agency carried out a widespread operation against illegal arms and weapons factories.
Three arms factories were shut down and the security forces seized weapons, parts and ammunition. The weapons included Carlo machine guns and handguns. The seized materials were turned over to security agencies for analysis.
