An officer in the Israel Prison Service was taken in for questioning yesterday under suspicion of having committed sexual harassment and assault while taking advantage of a position of authority.
The officer is suspected of having sexually harassed and assaulted a female jailer under his command on several occasions. He was released to his home under restrictive conditions, and was banned from Prison Service facilities for a preliminary period of 15 days.
