Telma has quarantined a batch of its Kariot Nougat (Nougat pillows) cereal, manufactured between Sunday and Tuesday, for fear of infection with salmonella.
Final test results are expected Friday morning. If verified, the tainted cereal will be destroyed next week. The company said all its products that are on the shelves are safe for consumption.
