A 33-year-old woman in the 26th week of her pregnancy was taken to the Tel Hashomer Hospital in serious condition on Wednesday, suffering from a high fever and impaired consciousness.
She was transferred to the intensive care unit and is sedated and under ventilation. The reason for her illness is unclear.
