Routine checks by the Environmental Protection Office revealed the presence of mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus in 3 different Israeli locations: in Neve Yaakov in Jerusalem, at Nahal Poleg south of Netanya, and in Taibe near Shaar Ephraim.
With the findings, the Environmental Protection Office instructed local authorities to widen the scope of monitoring and extermination of mosquitoes in their respective areas.
