About 14,000 eggs which were smuggled out of the Palestinian Authority were seized, Tuesday morning, in the storage room of a house in the Israeli Arab city of Tamra. Staff of the Poultry Council found the eggs to be dangerous for consumption and they were sent to be destroyed.
The seizure was an integrated operation of the council, police and income tax authorities. A suspect detained for questioning has been caught in the past under similar circumstances.
