Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto, who was sentenced in 2015 to one year in jail for bribery, has been granted a early release due to ongoing health problems.
Rabbi Pinto has served just seven months of his term, but will be freed in the coming days after a Prison Services committee approved his request for early release.
