The official value of the shekel rose an average of .16 percent, Tuesday, in mixed trading against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.766, down .053 percent, while the Euro rose .036 to 4.2057 shekels. The pound sterling was set at 5.0209 shekels, down .02 percent.
