Heavy traffic jams are being recorded overnight Thursday on Highway 1, between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in both directions, due to construction in the Hemed interchange .
The road was closed for the night due to the demolition of a bridge. The construction is expected to be completed by 09: 00 a.m. Friday morning.
