British media report Israel sold weapons to Argentina at the height of its war against Britain in 1982, according to newly declassified files of the British Foreign Office.
Diplomats cited evidence that the aid started before the war and continued until 1984. By then, Israel had abandoned its previous policy of denying that any weapons sales were taking place.
