An enforcement campaign by inspectors of the Commission for Equal Rights for People with Disabilities between May and July shows that 85 percent of Israeli public swimming pools do not have access to allow disabled people to bathe in a dignified and independent manner.
Often there were no appropriate shower or restroom facilities and the staff had not received mandatory training in how to provide services to the disabled public.
