Ayman Odeh, who heads the Joint Arab List in the Knesset, said, Monday, a poll showing support by Israeli and Palestinian Authority residents for the two-state solution is proof that there is a partner in negotiations between the two sides despite what he called the Israeli government's efforts to create despair at the prospects for peace.

Odeh said PA  residents supported the two-state solution despite what he called "fifty years of cruel occupation". He said the whole world supported creation of a PA state except for the Israeli government, which would become a pariah because of its intransigent stance.
