The Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria criticized Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman's new anti-terror program, Thursday, saying, "The defense minister is giving a carrot to the Palestinians and a stick to the settlement movement."
Decrying expansion of Arab building in Area C, under Israeli control, a council statement said, "This program is doubly serious, given that building permits will be granted only to Palestinians in Area C, while there is a deep freeze of planning and building Israeli settlements, along with the destruction of buildings. We demand the immediately stop of freezing planning and construction, and expect the national and right-wing government will expand the building and confirm settlement [building] plans."
