New southern section of Highway 6 opens Thursday night

A new portion of the Trans-Israel toll road between Lakia and the Shocket Junction, north of Be'er Sheva', will open at midnight, Thursday evening.

It's part of Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz's plan to extend Route 6 to the Hanegev Junction.
