The lowering of the water level in Lake Kinneret, also known as the Sea of Galilee, resulted in the discovery, Monday, of five old artillery shells next to Kibbutz Maagan.
The police switchboard was called when one shell was found. Additional shells were found when officers arrived at the scene. They closed the area and called military sappers to help in disposing of the shells.
