A number of people and organizations have expressed sorrow at the passing of journalist Bambi Sheleg, who worked for "Yedioth Ahronoth" and founded the "Eretz Acheret" magazine, early Monday morning at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.
Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein said that Sheleg "was and will remain a unique figure in the landscape of Israeli discourse. Bambi, a broad-minded and pleasant-toned woman, was much more than a journalist and publicist. She had a profound effect on the manner of dialogue between sectors and perspectives among us, especially through the magazine...."
