The official value of the shekel rose an average of .028 percent, Monday, against the other featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.808, down .079 percent, while the Euro rose .096 to 4.2553 shekels. The pound sterling was set at 4.9131 shekels, down .532 percent, while 100 Japanese yen rose .908 percent to NIS 3.7679.
