The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office has filed charges in the city's juvenile court against a 13-year-old from the Shuafat refugee camp in the northern part of Jerusalem, who was detained on Sunday after authorities found a gun and two ammunition clips at a boarding school in the eastern part of the capital.

The youth allegedly took the 9-millimeter pistol from his home and fired a shot next to the nearby Palestinian Authority village of Anata. He proceeded to the boarding school, and put the gun and clips in his room.
