The trial of Elor Azaria, the Israeli soldier caught in a video shooting a neutralized terrorist to death, has been postponed for two weeks following a scheduling oversight, according to a Tuesday-evening report by Israel Defense Forces Radio.

The next hearing was set for Sunday, August 14, which coincides with the Tisha B’Av fast, commemorating the destruction of the two Jewish temples in Jerusalem, among other Jewish calamities. Some of the witnesses who were scheduled to testify will be fasting.
