The Justice Ministry has informed Chairman Yisrael Eichler of the Knesset Special Committee for Public Petitions that the maximum number of standing passengers will double from ten to twenty when there are not enough buses to give proper service.
Eichler requested removal of the limit following complaints about buses not picking up passengers because the 10-passenger limit had been reached. He also asked for more buses, especially the last bus of the night.
