The Ministry of Defense issued a statement, Monday evening, in which it said it will continue its close and full cooperation with the United States, and that its difference of opinion on the Iran nuclear deal will not be detrimental to its appreciation of what the United States and President Barack Obama have done for Israel's defense.

The statement closes by saying its statement from Friday was not intended to make a direct comparison between the Iran deal and the 1938 Munich pact with Nazi Germany on either a personal or historical level. It expressed sorrow if it was interpreted otherwise.
